Truck driver Veer Bahadur Singh robbed and murdered by Gufran, Md. Wasim, Shanu, Bunty: Kasganj, UP

Truck driver Veer Bahadur Singh was brutally murdered during a robbery by 4 men in UP’s Kasganj district. 3 of the accused – Gufram, Mohammed Wasim, Shanu – have been arrested, and police is on the lookout for the fourth accused, Bunty, as per an Amar Ujala report dated 24 Dec. After murdering Singh and looting his truck, the accused dumped his body in Jawda canal in neighbouring Etah district.

Singh was bringing a consignment of polythene bags from Gujarat when he went missing on 9 Dec and his brother Anar Singh lodged a missing person complaint on 13 Dec. Upon investigation, police zeroed in on the gang of robbers, and confiscated the stolen sacks of polythene along with a country pistol and cartridges from them. They confessed to killing Singh and dumping his body in the canal, which is yet to be recovered.

The police is looking out for the absconding fourth accused, said SP Saurabh Dikshit.

The order for polythene bags had been placed by one Pyare Mian, who had also filed a complaint against the missing Veer Bahadur Singh accusing him of stealing the goods. Whether the accused robbers had advance knowledge of Singh’s consignment is still not known, but what is clear is that another innocent Hindu has been murdered while elites of our Republic continue chanting ‘minorities under threat’.
