Tent owner Anwar, his son & accomplices assaulted & severely injured a cop, 10 booked

In Uttar Pradesh’s (UP) Barabanki, some miscreants, including tent owner Anwar, beat up a sub-inspector over a minor dispute. The inspector was seriously injured and immediately taken to the hospital, where his treatment is ongoing. A video of the inspector being brutally beaten has also gone viral on social media. At present, the police have registered a case against 10 people and initiated action against them.

According to available information, the matter was reported from Mohammadpur Khala of the Suratganj police station area. The fair of Hetmapur Dham is going on here, and many policemen are on duty at the fair. Inspector Rajaram was also on duty here. But on Wednesday, when Inspector Rajaram finished his duty and reached the police camp with his fellow policemen, he got information that tent owner Anwar and his boys had a dispute with a shopkeeper at the fair.

The dispute took place regarding giving chairs on rent. As soon as information about the dispute was received, the Inspector reached the spot with his colleagues. When the police tried to calm down the parties involved, tent owner Anwar, his son and some other people attacked the police team. They kicked and punched the police and fled the scene.

Inspector Rajaram of Mohammadpur Khala police station was seriously injured in this attack. When the miscreants were beating Rajaram, someone made a video of it and posted it on social media. Meanwhile, the injured inspector was immediately taken to the Community Health Center in Suratganj. Due to a serious head injury, Rajaram was referred to the district hospital for better treatment. On the other hand, the police have registered a case against 10 accused and started further action.
