Surat crime branch dismantles Maulana module, arrests associate from Rajasthan for forced conversions and anti-Hindu activities

The Surat city police’s Crime Branch in Gujarat has disrupted the Maulana module, arresting an associate of Maulana Abu Bakar from Rajasthan’s Bikaner. According to the police, Maulana had forced many Hindu youths to engage in anti-Hindu activities by converting them to Islam. The police are now examining the backgrounds of those who had contact with the Maulana.

Ashok Suthar, who was in contact with the Maulana (Islamic cleric), was arrested by the Crime Branch team in Bikaner. He was presented in court and taken into police custody for further questioning. During the interrogation, it was revealed that Ashok Suthar had converted to Islam. He had met a Maulvi in Delhi, where a plot was underway to convert Hindu youths to Islam by promising them marriage with ‘beautiful’ Pakistani girls. These converted brainwashed youths were then used for anti-Hindu activities.

The police believe that more information will come out during the custody period. They found that Ashok Suthar had been in communication with the Maulvi. The police have seized his devices, including a mobile phone and laptop. They found 40 Pakistani numbers on Abu Bakar’s phone.

Earlier this month, the Surat Crime Branch police arrested Maulvi Sohel Timol for conspiring to murder prominent Hindu leaders in the country. Surat Police Commissioner Anupam Singh Gehlot stated that they found significant information on the Maulana’s mobile phone. The investigation revealed that the accused Islamic cleric was planning attacks on top Hindu leaders and was in contact with enemy countries to spread chaos in Bharat.
