IAF Officer Sukharam ends his life after ‘friend’ Saddam Hussein & family pressure him to convert to Islam by threatening to file fake rape case: Rajasthan

Indian Air Force (IAF) Officer Sukharam Jaat committed suicide in Makrana, Rajasthan. His family has accused his ‘friend’ Saddam Hussein and Saddam’s father, Mohammad Saeed, a former head constable, of pressuring the IAF officer to convert to Islam.

24-year-old Sukharam, hailing from Midian village, was stationed in the Air Force in Hyderabad. He was found hanging in his room by his family. They took his body to the police station and began protesting. After the police promised to investigate, the family took the victim’s body for final rites.

Sukharam’s father stated that Saddam and his son had been ‘friends’ for a long time, having studied together in Kuchaman. Since 2020, Saddam allegedly extorted money from the victim during his visits to the village.

Furthermore, Saddam’s father asked Saddam’s wife to file a false rape complaint against Sukharam. The family claims the victim was threatened to convert to Islam or face false charges and jail time. Refusing to convert, the IAF officer sadly took his own life. The authorities are investigating the case; no official statements have been made yet.
