A shocking case of Love Jihad comes to the fore in Haryana’s Palval. A Muslim hide his religion to trap a folk singer into Love Jihad and then he sexually exploited her. The accused sexually abused the girl for two and a half years by hiding her religion on the pretext of marriage. To avoid any doubt, the accused had also got an Aadhaar card made in another name.

It is alleged that the accused Sabir made an obscene video of the victim and is threatening to make it viral on the internet. The accused also stole Rs 2.5 lakh and jewelry from the singer’s house. Sabir also thrashed the victim while she was going for a stage program.

On the complaint of the victim, the Camp police station has registered a case against the named accused under the sections of rape, assault, cheating, and love jihad. The accused has not been arrested yet.

According to camp police station in-charge Inspector Satyanarayan, a girl resident of the colony situated across the railway line lodged a complaint that she does singing and dancing work in Haryana stage Ragini programs. About two and a half years ago, she met a young man. The young man told his name was Manoj, a resident of village Mitrol and he also had an Aadhaar card with the same name and address.

The accused trapped her in the clutches of Love Jihad and influenced her to such an extent that she left her parents and started living with him. The accused used to sexually assault her for two and a half years on the pretext of marriage.

Later she came to know that the accused who introduced himself as Manoj, a resident of Mitrol, is Sabir, a resident of Neemka, district Nuh. Sabir is already married and has four children. Police have started the action by registering a case based on the complaint and Sabir will be arrested very soon.
