Omkareshwar – 9 year old innocent girl raped, accused auto driver Javed Mansoori arrested

A heinous case of rape of an innocent minor girl has come to light in the pilgrimage city Omkareshwar, Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. A 40-year-old Muslim auto driver Javed Mansoori raped a 9-year-old innocent girl. The victim hailed from a tribal community and her mother is mentally challenged, while her father has passed away.

As per the police, the victim girl was missing for two days and suddenly the neighbors found her. She was in intense pain and crying profusely. When Police reached the spot and conducted the interrogation, the girl told them about her ordeal.

According to Mandhata TI Baljeet Singh, Police have conducted a search operation and arrested Javed from Sanawad and they have registered a rape case against the accused under POCSO and SC/ST atrocity Act. Meanwhile, the victim has been medically examined, her condition is stable.

As per the Khandwa SP Satyendra Shukla, the victim’s father died many years ago and her mother is mentally unstable. The girl used to beg with her mother for their survival. The accused Javed lured her with food and drink and took her to his home, where he kept her hostage for two days and raped her.

Meanwhile, hundreds of members of local Hindu organizations have surrounded the police station and raised slogans. They were demanding an expedited trial of the accused and also demanded a death sentence for him.
