In a grooming case from Jharkhand, Mohammed Naeem Mian is accused of assuming a fake Hindu identity to marry a Hindu woman. He reportedly also raped the woman’s minor younger sister and filmed the act. He was threatening to make the video viral. Naeem Mian is a resident of Matrameta village, located under Thethaitangar Police Station.
The incident was reported from the Bolba police station in Jharkhand’s Simdega district. Mian posed as Sandeep Singh to trap the woman. The couple subsequently had a court marriage. The two even have a child together.
According to some reports, he has been in a live-in relationship with the woman for the past five years. He kept abusing her sexually under the pretext of marriage. He refused to marry the girl when she became pregnant. He also revealed his true identity to her.
BJP District President Laxman Badaik came to know about the incident. Immediately, he met the victim’s family members and made the girl approach the women’s police station and lodge a complaint against the young man who wronged her. With the efforts of the Simdega BJP, the victim reached the Mahila Police Station and complained about the accused.
An FIR has been filed against the accused in Simdega Mahila Police Station under IPC sections 376, 419, 323, 504, and 341. Mian fled after locking his residence after the FIR was filed. The police are investigating the case and have launched a search to catch Mian.
