Islamists pelt stones on Hindus preparing for Bhagwa Yatra ahead of Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha: Haryana

In Faridabad’s Gaunchhi village, Muslim community members threw stones and raised religious slogans against Hindus preparing for Bhagwa Yatra for the upcoming Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhya’s Sri Ram Mandir. The incident occurred around 11 pm on a Monday (15 January) night. The police are looking into the matter.

Omveer is one of the Hindus who got hurt during the stone-throwing. He explained that they were getting ready for a Bhagwa rally to celebrate Prabhu Ram’s arrival when some Muslim community members, including a person named Iqbal, came to his house. Suddenly, they started throwing stones at his shop and shouting religious slogans.

Omveer and his family were sleeping but woke up because of the noise. They stayed inside the house because they were scared. He recorded the stone-throwing on his phone. In the recording, you can hear the Muslim attackers using foul language and threatening them. The incident went on for about half an hour, and the attackers even stole money from Omveer’s shop.

Iqbal is a repeat offender, and earlier too, cases were registered against him under Section 307 for fighting and robbery. Omveer reported the incident to the police on the same night, and they came to the area immediately. It’s said that if the police hadn’t arrived in time, someone might have gotten seriously hurt.

The in charge of the Sanjay Colony outpost mentioned that both sides threw stones, and some women and young people got injured. Both parties went to Badshah Khan Civil Hospital for a medical checkup, and complaints were filed from both sides.
