In Uttar Pradesh, a disturbing case has come to light involving a young Muslim man who deceived a Hindu girl from Bihar. The man, pretending to be Hindu, started a romantic relationship with the girl and later took her to Bareilly’s Dargah-e-Aala Hazrat, where he pressured her to convert to Islam. After their Islamic wedding (Nikah), he made her eat beef, which is against her religious beliefs.

Things got worse after she became pregnant. He forced her to have an abortion and physically assaulted her before throwing her out of the house. Desperate for help, the girl approached the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for justice.

The incident occurred in Sunni Nagar, under the Baheri police station area. The accused met the girl while they were both working in Gurgaon. He introduced himself as “Rana” and eventually lured her into a relationship. They both moved to a rented place in Delhi, where he continued his deception. About a year and a half ago, he took her to his home in Baheri, where she discovered his true identity. He pressured her to convert to Islam at a local shrine and married her there.

After their marriage, the girl faced severe abuse. She was forced to abort their baby and was frequently beaten. One day, the man’s brother entered her room and raped her. When she told her husband, he threatened to burn her alive if she failed to keep quiet. Terrified, she went to the Baheri police station, but the officers there did not help her. She then decided to seek help from the SSP.

The victim is now scared for her life and has pleaded for strict action against her husband. The SSP has ordered registration of a case and a proper investigation into the matter.
