Mohd Rashid abducts & rapes 13-yr-old Hindu minor: MP

In a disturbing incident in a village in Madhya Pradesh’s (MP) Ashok Nagar district, a 13-year-old girl was raped by Islamist Mohammad Rashid. The incident occurred in the Naisarai police station area, where Rashid and his accomplice threatened the girl’s mother with a knife before taking the girl to a nearby field and sexually assaulting her. The family searched for the victim and found her in the fields later.

The victim’s mother initially took her to the police station, but when the report was not filed as per their statement, she went to the Superintendent of Police’s office to file an application demanding a rape case be registered. However, the police intercepted the victim on her way to the SP’s office, stopping the bus she was travelling in.

According to the victim, the incident occurred on the night of April 18, when she was going out of her house for defecation. Rashid Khan and another person, hiding outside her house, covered her face with a cloth, causing her to lose consciousness. They then took her away on a bike, threatening her mother with a knife when she tried to intervene.

Subsequently, the victim’s mother informed other family members, who joined the search for the girl. The accused fled when they saw the family approaching. The victim was found lying unconscious in a field about one kilometre away from the village.

The victim later went to the SP’s office to file a complaint, alleging that she was beaten at the police station and that the report was not written according to her version of events. She accused Rashid Khan of raping her. Superintendent of Police Vineet Kumar Jain stated that a case of kidnapping was initially registered based on the missing girl report. However, the family claims she was raped, and further investigation is ongoing to determine the appropriate action.
