Mohd Faiz molested a woman doctor & assaulted her husband: Lucknow

In a disturbing incident in Lucknow, Mohammad Faiz, along with a friend, reportedly stopped a moving car to assault a woman and attempted to molest her. Shockingly, this was not the first time Faiz targeted the victim, who had endured harassment from him before, choosing silence to protect her honour. However, she broke her silence and filed a case against Faiz.

The victim, identified as a woman doctor, was molested by Faiz and his accomplice near the Samta Mulak intersection in Gomti Nagar. The police reported that her husband was also physically assaulted when he raised an alarm during the incident. Ashish Srivastava, Deputy Commissioner of Police (east), confirmed that the Gomti Nagar police had registered a case under the relevant sections based on the victim’s complaint and initiated an investigation.

According to the victim’s statement, Faiz Khan, a resident of Thakurganj whom she knew before marriage, and his friend intercepted her car near the Samta Mulak crossing. “As soon as I got out of the car, he started molesting me. My husband was assaulted when he protested,” the woman told the police.

The victim revealed that Faiz had been harassing her even before her marriage, and the harassment continued after she got married. The accused reportedly stalked her and sent her text messages on her phone. The DCP stated that the doctor had previously complained with 1090, where the accused received counselling. However, despite the intervention, the situation did not improve.
