Md. Abdul of Godhra, Gujarat repeatedly rapes a girl of his daughter’s age, shares video with her fiancé to ruin her wedding

A disturbing incident has come to light in Panchmahal, Godhra, Gujarat. One Mohammed Abdul raped a girl for two and a half years, videotaped the act, impregnated the victim and then shared the video with her fiancé causing her upcoming marriage to break up. The accused is said to be of the same age as the girl’s father, and it is alleged that a male relative of Abdul was also involved in sexually assaulting the girl.

According to a report, the victim’s father runs a tea stall for his livelihood. The girl also used to work in nearby houses and help her father in meeting the family’s expenses. The accused Mohammad Abdul Mistry, who lives in the neighborhood, used to call the victim on the pretext of doing domestic work like cleaning utensils and washing clothes etc. For more than two and a half years, he repeatedly raped her while calling her under the pretext of doing housework videotaped his acts in order to blackmail the girl.

The accused asked the victim to keep quiet about the crime or else he would make her video viral. When the victim’s family fixed her marriage, the accused sent her pictures and videos to her fiancé and the marriage was called off before it could take place.

Meanwhile, the girl’s health deteriorated and she was taken to the hospital, where it was found that she is pregnant. The rape accused Mohammad Abdul Mistry is of the same age as the victim’s father.

The victim’s family has demanded severe punishment for the accused Mohammad Abdul. The victim’s father also told that the son of Abdul’s sister was also involved in the crime. At present, the victim’s family has filed a complaint against the accused at the Godhra B-Division police station. The police have registered a case and further investigation is going on.
