“Massive Maoist Dump unearthed by BSF in Malkangiri, weapons, ammunition, rocket launchers recovered”, Organiser, August 8, 2023:

“In a major crackdown on the Maoists personnel from the Gallant 142 unit of the BSF were out on a search operation in the Bejangiwada reserve forest area of Malkangiri when they seized a massive Maoist dump during the operation.

The security personnel in the operation seized weapons, ammunition along with the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) making materials from the spot while other materials related to the Ultras have also been seized by the personnel.

It’s been reported that the operation was launched following a specific Intel about the Maoist camp in the Kaimela area which led to the seizure of a huge cache of arms and ammunition. The recovery includes as many as 11 barrels, 15 IEDs, 2.51mm mortar guns, a three not three rifle along with a huge quantity of live cartridges…..”
