Love Jihad in Assam: Sadique Ali posed as ‘Rahul’ to trap Hindu girl, arrested

Another case of Love Jihad has been reported from Guwahati of Assam. A Muslim youth named Sadique Ali posed as ‘Rahul’ and trapped a Hindu girl in love and sexual exploitation. Later, when the girl wanted to end the relationship, he started blackmailing her. Later, he was arrested after the complaint of the victim girl.

The Hindu girl lives in the Panbazaar area of the Guwahati town. As per the woman’s complaint, Muslim youth Sadique Ali faked his Muslim identity and adopted a Hindu identity. He then introduced to the Hindu girl as ‘Rahul Sharma’. Soon, the Hindu girl fell into his trap.

The girl alleged that by promising to marry her, Sadique built a sexual relationship with her. Later, she got to know his real identity. After knowing this, the girl wanted to end her relationship with Sadique. But Sadique threatened her to make her private photos and videos public. As the Hindu girl didn’t continue the relationship, Sadique posted her private photos on social media.

Being devastated, the girl lodged a complaint against Sadique at the Cyber Police Station of CID Assam. After this, the Police filed a case against the accused under sections  376, 294,419,379,201,427,0506 of IPC and section 66D, 67 of the Information Technology Act.

Later, a team of Police started a manhunt and arrested the accused, Sadique Ali, from the Panbazaar railway station area on the 2nd of November afternoon.
