Now, a Hindu temple is attacked in Kolkata town. Also, the Murti is vandalised. The incident has been reported from the Chitpur area.

As per the reports, some local Hindus organised Shitala Mata Puja in the locality. However, some local Muslims objected to using loudspeakers.

Local Hindus alleged, “Some Islamists came and threatened to keep loudspeakers silent during the Azan. When we refused to do so, they got angry. They called others and attacked the Puja mandap.”

Islamist mob then vandalised the Shitala Mata Puja mandap and a Hanuman temple nearby. The Murti of Sri Hanuman was also vandalised. 

After hearing the news, Swami Paramatma Nandaji Maharaj reached there. He demanded the immediate arrest of the perpetrators. 

Swami Paramatma Nandaji Maharaj said, “The Police and the administration are the silent spectators. We, Hindus, have to be united to fight against the non-dharmics.”
