Khattar govt finally allocates land for CRPF’s anti-riot unit RAF in Islamist no-go Nuh, 5 years after centre’s approval

“Haryana Govt allocates land for CRPF’s anti-riot unit RAF in violence-hit Nuh after five years of Centre’s approval”, Swarajyamag, August 3, 2023:

“After nearly five years since the Centre approved the establishment of a new battalion of the CRPF’s anti-riot unit Rapid Action Force (RAF) in Nuh, the Haryana government has finally sanctioned land for the purpose.

The plot, spanning approximately 50 acres in Indri village of Nuh, was earmarked earlier, but the final declaration for its use by the force was pending for over a year.

According to official sources, the sanction to hand over the land to the RAF was granted earlier this week. The process to take over the land will happen soon, followed by a foundation stone laying ceremony by a dignitary…..”
