Father of 3 Mubarak Khan (42) lured Shruti Tiwari (22) into a live-in relationship & forced her to sign Sharia-affidavit: MP

In Madhya Pradesh’s (MP) Damoh, a case of love jihad was reported where a man named Mubarak Khan trapped a girl named Shruti Tiwari. Khan is 42 years old, while Shruti is 22 years old. According to some reports, Khan is already married and has three children.

Shruti’s family claims that the accused came to their home with a knife in mid-December last year and took their daughter away. Later, the two started living together without getting married. The girl’s family went to the police, and a missing persons case was filed. Hindu groups protested, and the police found the girl and sent her for counselling.

Shruti and Khan signed an agreement to live together, and if they decide to marry in the future, it will be done through a Shariah-compliant Nikah ceremony. If they separate, they won’t file complaints or make claims against each other.

Hindu activists spoke to the girl, who claimed she was lured by the accused but wanted to return to her parents. The police couldn’t forcefully separate them because of the agreement. Eventually, after protests, the girl was handed over to her parents.

The Hindu group Sanatan Sangh Leader Updesh Rana said the police should monitor Mubarak Khan’s activities. He raised concerns about organized love jihad campaigns in Damoh and urged parents to teach their children the correct values.
