Islamist (17) abducts and rapes minor Hindu girl (14) in Gonda, complaint filed: UP

In Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, a 14-year-old girl was raped by a 17-year-old Muslim boy when she had gone to defecate. The incident occurred when the girl was forcibly taken into the bushes by the accused, who then raped her. The victim later informed her family about the incident, and her father filed a complaint against the accused at Kauria police station.

The police have registered a case against the accused under various sections, including the POCSO Act, and have started an investigation. The victim has received medical treatment at a women’s hospital. The incident took place when the girl, a resident of a village in the Kaudiya police station area, was raped by the accused, who belongs to a different village.

The father of the victim stated that his daughter was raped by a young Muslim boy from another village when she had gone to defecate outside. The family has filed a complaint with the police and is seeking justice for their daughter. The police registered a case, conducted the victim’s medical examination, and recorded her statement.

Gonda’s Additional Superintendent of Police, Radheshyam Rai, confirmed that a complaint was received at the Kaudiya police station regarding sexual assault on a minor girl. A case has been registered based on the complaint, the victim has undergone a medical examination, and the accused has been arrested.
