After Sandeshkhali, Hindu women of Howrah, WB protest against sexual assault and atrocities by another TMC leader Sheikh Khalil

After Sandeshkhali in North 24 Parganas district, Hindu women are protesting against the torture of the TMC leader in the Panchla area of Howrah district of West Bengal.

The women of the area alleged that gangs of TMC leader Sheikh Khalil attacked them. They abused, beat up and molested them, alleged protesting Hindu women.

The women also alleged that TMC leader Sheikh Khalil had been trying to grab a pond illegally, spread over 360 Bigha. The pond is sacred for them, said the Hindu residents. The water of the pond is the primary source for their daily chores. Also, the water of the pond is used for the farm work.
