Instagram reels-obsessed Hindu woman kills husband with help of her Muslim ‘friend’: Bihar

A woman from Bihar’s Begusarai, who used to make reels on Instagram, got close to a Muslim guy. They became friends and reportedly fell in ‘love.’ When the woman’s husband found out, he didn’t like it. He told her to stop making reels, which she refused to do. So, the woman and her Muslim ‘lover’ planned to kill her husband. On January 7, they carried out the plan and murdered Maheshwar Rai together.

Begusarai SP Yogendra Kumar quickly formed a team to investigate. The police arrested the wife, Rani Rai, who admitted to the murder. However, Shehzad, is still on the run. On January 7, the police found Maheshwar Rai’s body in Fafot, Khodavandpur police station area. His family accused Rani of the murder.

Rani and Maheshwar got married seven years ago, and everything was fine until Rani started making Instagram reels four years ago. Her husband didn’t like it and asked her to stop, but she didn’t listen. During this time, she became close to a Muslim guy named Shehzad. On January 7, Rani and Shehzad strangled Maheshwar Rai with a dupatta. Begusarai SP Yogendra Kumar mentioned that Rani had over 10 thousand followers on Instagram. Police claim that the accused will be arrested soon.
