“Hindu girls raped wherever demographics change: Bengal BJP head”, Swadharma, February 23, 2024:

“Hindu girls are regularly raped in places where the demographics have changed in the state, BJP’s West Bengal unit president Sukanta Majumdar alleged on 23 February. He said the ruling Trinamool Congress violated human rights with impunity in Sandeshkhali.

Majumdar said, “The members of the National Human Rights Commission should talk to everyone and tell the whole country the reality of the torture of womenfolk in that village. Human rights have been violated in Sandeshkhali. Bigha after bigha land has been encroached upon. Women say that anyone who protested was beaten with thick spade butts.”

“On the 22nd (January), the day of the inauguration of the Ram temple (in Ayodhya), Hindus assembled for an ujjapan (ritual to conclude a pledged puja). Ujjapan was not allowed. Do not Hindus have right to religion in West Bengal?” the Bengal BJP head asked reporters…..”
