Ghaziabad: A Muslim teacher attempts to convert children by luring them with chocolate, Vishwa Hindu Parishad demands strict action

An attempt was made by a Muslim teacher to convert some Hindu children in Gaur Siddhartham Society of Siddharth Vihar, Ghaziabad. This Muslim teacher used to put pressure on them to convert from Hindu to Muslim, in return children were lured with chocolate, he was also threatening the children of dire consequences.

These allegations were made against a Muslim teacher coming to the society to give tuition to the children. The teacher was nabbed and handed over to the Vijayanagar Police late on Friday evening.

A woman living in the society told the police that her son was on the second floor in G-Block, at 6.30 in the evening a person stopped him there and said, “Leave Hindu religion, adopt Muslim religion.”

In return, he was trying to convert the child by giving him chocolate. When the child reached home, he was frightened, seeing which when his relatives spoke to him, he told the truth. After this, the accused was searched and caught in the society.

In the meantime, three-four more children living inside the society came and also accused the accused of pressurizing them to convert to Muslim religion by giving them chocolates. After this, officials of Vishwa Hindu Parishad also reached the society. They caught the accused and brought him to Vijayanagar police station.

Hindu organizations demanded action

The VHP and various other pro-Hindu organizations have informed the police about the entire matter and demanded a strict action against the accused. ACP Kotwali Nimish Patil said that the matter of trying to convert children by feeding them chocolate has come to his notice, based on the complaint a report will be registered and action will be taken in this matter. Till the time of writing the report, no report has been filed in this matter.
