In a deeply distressing incident, a woman fell victim to a heartless fraud orchestrated by a Islamist man who deceitfully posed as someone else on a matrimonial website. Mohammed Shahjahan, masquerading under the identity of Mukund Nair, allegedly manipulated and befriended a divorced Hindu woman, exploiting her trust.
The victim, a college lecturer residing in Cochin, Kerala, was lured into a web of deceit by Islamist Shahjahan, who spun a fabricated tale of employment abroad, even going to the extent of fabricating documents to support his false claims. Over the course of five months, the unsuspecting woman and Shahjahan lived together, during which time he systematically defrauded her of Rs 10.27 lakhs and valuable jewelry through a series of fraudulent schemes.
The shocking revelation that Shahjahan was, in fact, an Islamist left the woman and her family reeling with disbelief and anguish. The betrayal of trust, coupled with the significant financial losses incurred, has left them devastated and grappling with the aftermath of the deceitful scheme. In response to the heinous crime perpetrated by Shahjahan, the Kerala Police has issued a lookout notice for his immediate arrest. The authorities are actively pursuing all leads and avenues to apprehend the Islamist perpetrator and bring him to justice for his reprehensible actions.
The case of Love Jihad continues to cast a dark shadow over the southern state of Kerala, with reports of coercive conversions and exploitation of Hindu girls by Islamist individuals on the rise. The film Kerala Story is a stark reminder of the dangers that our Hindu girls face day in and day out in Kerala. Despite the alarming frequency of such incidents, Hindu girls remain unaware of the dangers posed by this insidious practice.
