Chronology of Nuh anti-Hindu violence & horror stories of victims

Mewat’s Nuh was hit with violence on Monday after Islamists attacked the annual Brij Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra. The violence forced around 2500 Hindus including children to take shelter in a temple.

The planned Nuh violence

On 31 July, Hindu bhakts participating in the 84 Kos Brijmandal Shobhayatra were attacked with swords, sticks and stones by Islamists. The violence left 3 dead and 45 injured. The Yatra organised by VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) and Matru Shakti Durga Vahini is being undertaken for the past three years.

The Yatra was headed to the Mandir in Shringar Village from Nuh via Firozpur Zirka. After the procession left Nalhad Shiv Mandir and headed towards Firozpur Zirka at around 1.30 PM, it was by Islamists near Shahidi Park. When the Yatra comprising around 4000 persons left Naleshwar Mahadev Mandir in Muslim-dominated Nuh’s Nalhad it came under heavy stone-pelting by radical Islamists who reportedly raised ‘Allahu Akbar’ slogans.

Given below is the sequence of events that unfolded on July 31:

1) Hindu community organized the traditional Brijmandal 84 Kos Shobhayatra (Jalabhishek Yatra) which was attacked by Islamists with stones as soon as it reached Muslim-dominated Nuh.

2) Gurugram Police Commissioner Kala Ramachandran confirmed that 3 persons have died and 45 have been injured in the violence so far. Furthermore, vehicles of more than 300 Hindus were set afire and stones were pelted even on police officials.

3) The Naleshwar Mahadev Mandir is surrounded on three sides by hills. 4000 devotees were trapped in the mandir. Shots were fired on the trapped devotees from the hills. Moreover, the bus carrying devotees was stopped and set on fire. To make matters worse, an ambulance carrying a patient was set afire along with the patient.

4) Islamists pelted stones at Nuh’s Kali Mandir seriously injuring the priest who has been admitted to a private hospital.

5) Not only devotees and police officials but even local Hindus were attacked by Islamists.

6) Although it appears as a random act of violence against Hindus, it has come to light that the entire violence was a well-planned conspiracy. A concerted social media (SM) campaign was undertaken in which the supposed presence of Monu Manesar was used to provoke Muslims which led to the Islamist attack on Hindus.

7) Congress MLA Maman Khan had threatened of possible ‘consequences’ if Monu Manesar visited Mewat.

8) A user named Mohammad Sabir Khan posted a video on Facebook (FB) showing a line of cylinders with a threatening message to Monu Manesar. “Monu Sonu come tomorrow entire Mewat is waiting to welcome you with a blast that you’ll never be able to rejoin the pieces…Inshallah”, the caption reads. This attests to the fact that Islamists had hatched the conspiracy in advance.

Another post by Khan also shows the advance preparations of the rioters.

9) The Yatra was thoroughly recced and minute-by-minute updates were shared with the rioters. A user named Arbaaz Khan Dahngal shared live updates about VHP leaders on the Nuh Mewat route while another user identified as Aaysha Nawaj shared live updates after the Yatra left Faridabad.

10) Rioters shared their live locations with each other and asked other rioters to assemble at certain places. Information regarding which roads should be blocked was also shared in advance.

11) A WhatsApp group named ‘Insaniyat Bachao Abhiyan’ was created where one Ummar was seen provocating others to attack Hindus.

12) Drivers of ‘dumper vehicles’ were told to be on standby.

13) Rioters urged each other to delete videos and posts so that there are no ‘proofs’ available.

From the entire sequence of events, it is amply clear that the Nuh-Mewat violence is a well-planned conspiracy against Hindus. The violence that started in Haryana’s Nuh spread to Gurugram like wildfire. Section 144 was imposed to bring the situation under control.

Hindus narrate their ordeal

1) One of the women who were trapped in the mandir explained their ordeal. “All I prayed for is that once I die my dead body should be treated with dignity and respect and not fall into the hands of the jihadis”, she said. Furthermore, she says there were thousands of people there which is an area with limited water supply and tankers are called for water supply. They had to drink toilet water. Moreover, shots were being fired making it difficult for them to use the washroom. She says many women removed their bindis, bangles, sindoor, and other symbols of Hindu Dharma. Recalling the entire incident she adds that the condition was like the 1947 partition when trains carrying dead bodies of Hindus arrived from Pakistan.

2) A local resident who identified himself as Gaurav Gupta said that the rioters attacked his vehicle despite them being friendly with them. “Locals were attacked. They had an issue with the police administration and Yatra devotees then they should’ve dealt with them. Why were the vehicles and shops of locals vandalised? We have been living with them for a long time and believe in Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb”, he says.

3) “I saw the entire violence unfold and can confidently say that unless the administration takes strict action, the Muslims would rule in a few days there and Hindu women would no longer be safe. Gunshots were being fired from all around but none from the police and administration were present to protect us”, said an eyewitness.

He further added that the rioters had occupied the surrounding hills from where they were firing and 6000 Hindus including the aged, women, and children were in the mandir. He said when they tried to rescue women the rioters started heavy firing, more than 300 vehicles were set afire, and many were ruthlessly murdered as they tried to leave the temple.

The Mewat-Nuh violence should be viewed with seriousness and Hindus should be afforded safety.

  1. Please listen to IPS Mamata Singh who led the rescue of the 2500 trapped Hindus from Nalhar Mahadeo Mandir. She said there was heavy firing from all the hills (temple surrounded by hills on 3 sides) and the one side from where the pilgrims had entered was no longer accessible due to large number of vehicles set on fire. Pilgrims had to escape from the forest/fields.
Had the police not arrived in large numbers, God knows what the plans of the Jihadis were? Was to create a mass slaughter of tens to hundreds of Hindus? If not, why had so many taken up gun positions in the hills?

This is a VERY SERIOUS security situation. Just because the trapped Hindus were rescued, please do not forget what the situation was at the time the police arrived. It was as bad as partition riots at that point. Thank God the Hindus found the police rescue teams, else we would be looking at a catastrophe. I would just say Mahadeo ne bachaya warna Ms ki planning to poori thi…

  2. Nahi janaab….par aap samjhe nahi janaab….dekhiye mein samjhata hoon….yeh sab, yeh SAB sirf ek aadmi ki wajah se hua hai, aur wo hai Monu Manesar. Never mind that Monu was not even part of the yatra. Never mind that in NO video of his has he used hate speech or issued threats (which are routinely issued by other community). Never mind that MP from that region in parliament used threats. Never mind that presence or absence of one man can never justify a group attack on thousands of Hindu pilgrims, which include about 50% women and children. If these people had some issue with one man (Monu), then find him and attack him. On what justification were the lives of thousands of Hindu pilgrims put at risk? Never mind all that reasoning. Just blame Monu Manesar. Arre why only for these attacks on Hindus, I think he is also responsible for the attacks on Hindus during partition! I am sure some “video” of his was floating around even then which “triggered” the “peacefuls” into mass slaughter.

See, bottom line is this: peacefuls ko kuch to trigger karta hai. Be it Monu Manesar or Monty Panesar. Something or someone triggers them. And when triggered, they meet at jumma and plan to do what they are best at — JIHAD ON KAFIRS. What we saw in Nuh is like the 1921 Jihad on Malabar Hindus, but on much much smaller scale. In that Jihad, upwards of 20,000 Hindus were killed, here “only 6” Hindus were killed. But the underlying idea is the same–JIHAD.

We Hindus have to repeatedly point out that we are facing one and only one thing for 1300 years: JIHAD FI SABIL-ILLAH. And we have lost millions to it. We lost 6 more 2 days ago. And we will lose many more in years to come as M population increases at rapid rate.
