The Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police, in a joint operation, recovered a drone from the border village of Bharopal. In both cases, BSF has handed over the drone and heroin to the local police.

A BSF spokesperson confirmed that they were jointly patrolling with the police in the border village of Bharopal on Thursday (26 October) when information was received that a Pakistani drone was lying outside the village. At around 3 PM, the soldiers succeeded and recovered a Chinese-made quadcopter (model DJI Mavic-3 Classic) drone in the paddy field.

The spokesperson further said that earlier on Thursday morning, a contingent of the force had also recovered 360 grams of heroin in a bottle from Daoke, another border village located in Punjab. The soldiers patrolling the village got information about heroin in a field and started the search operation.
