“BJP Tamil Nadu SC wing leader PPG Shankar hacked to death”, Thecommunemag, April 28, 2023:

“PPG Shankar (42), a BJP Tamil Nadu functionary was hacked to death by miscreants when he was travelling in his car to his home on the night of 27 April 2023. Shankar hails from Valarpuram area next to Sriperumbudur in Kanchipuram district. He was the President of Varapuram Panchayat Council and the State Treasurer of BJP Tamil Nadu Scheduled Caste wing.

On Thursday morning Shankar had come to Chennai and went home at night in his car with the driver. His car was cornered near Nasarathpet signal on the Chennai – Bengaluru highway when a mysterious gang hurled a country bomb at the car, causing damage to the entire front part of the car.

Knowing that his life was in threat, he got out of the car and ran on the road to survive. The men who were in hiding chased Shankar, massacred him to death, and later fled the spot….”
