A madrasa teacher allegedly beat up a minor Hindu girl student in the Hojai district of Assam. The girl is now critical and is undergoing treatment in the ICU at Star Lab Hospital in Hojai.
As per reports, the girl is identified as Puja Das. She is a resident of Kaki village in the Lanka area of the Hojai district. She used to study in that Madrasa.
Her family members alleged, “Teacher of that Madrasa Musifur Rahman Khan brutally beat her up. Due to extreme torture, she became unconscious. She is now fighting for her life.”
As per sources, the girl used to study in the madrasa, as the regular school is far from her home. But she’ll be tortured, no one ever thought. Others said that the madrasa teacher targeted the Hindu girl. The teacher kept the girl lying on the bench and beat her repeatedly. Due to that, the girl became conscious.
Her family members said that they will file a complaint soon. Meanwhile, the news of this incident is doing rounds in mainstream media entities in Assam.
