As per the reports, the police officials confirmed that they arrested two persons and also seized a Bolero pick-up.
Notably, carrying and transportation of cows without proper permission is banned in Assam. But, as the state of Assam shares long border with Bangladesh, cow smugglers frequently attempt for smuggling. Smugglers mainly aim to smuggle the cows during night and take vehicles to villages near the international border. That’s why, the Assam Police frequently roll out operation to catch the cow smugglers.
