Arrest Maulana Sajid Rashidi, now!

Notorious Islamic cleric Sajid Rashidi has crossed all limits of civilized discourse. After earlier threatening that the Ram mandir currently being built at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, UP will be ‘destroyed after 100 years when Muslims come to power in Bharat’, he has now justified the repeated desecration and loot of the Somnath Mandir by Turkic marauder Mahmud of Ghazni, from present-day Afghanistan.

Speaking to a news channel, Rashidi who is the chairman of All India Imam Association, said “People say that Ghaznavi (Mahmud of Ghazni) has destroyed the Somnath temple. But history is that people informed him about what all is going on in name of aastha (belief) and devi-devatas in that temple, how girls go missing there. Even after learning this, Ghaznavi first got the matter investigated, he sent his CID (sic), When he found that the allegations are true, then he attacked Somnath temple. But he didn’t destroy the temple, he ended the wrongdoings happening there,” Rashid can be heard spewing in the clip above.

This disgusting concoction by Rashidi follow the template created by secular historians. A similar secularist-Marxist canard claims that ‘Aurangzeb demolished the Kashi Vishwanath Temple to avenge the dishonour of a Hindu woman’.

This is not just a mockery of recorded history, but hateful slander of a holy, revered Hindu temple like Somnath. The truth is that madrasas (Islamic religious schools) across the world have become dens of sexual exploitation of children, and fanatic mullahs like Rashidi are indoctrinated from a young age to view women as inferior beings, fit only for sexual exploitation.

The history of subcontinental Muslim dynasties is littered with examples of kings drunk with power, exploiting countless women in their harems, including their own daughters. Invaders like Ghazni, whom Rashidi idolizes, used to carry off thousands of slaves, mostly women and children, who were later sold in markets of central Asia as sex slaves.

When a woman interviewer had asked this Rashidi what ‘reward’ a woman will get in jannat (Islamic heaven), he had said, “You will be chief of 72 hoors (forever virgin beautiful maidens) your husband gets.”

This is their shocking mindset. But rather than look within, people like Rashidi are trained to defame other religions and keep their flock fooled with notions of Islamic supremacism.

Rashidi’s nonchalant defense of a brutal looter like Mahmud of Ghazni and his sacrilegious slander targeting an iconic Hindu temple, shows how deep the rot is in Indian Islam. Our secular Republic has only emboldened such illiterate, fanatical bigots by peddling fake Marxist history that has negated the havoc wreaked by Islamism over the centuries.

When the first PM of the country negated Ghazni’s religiously-driven attack on ‘idol worshippers’ by calling him a ‘brilliant and successful solider’, is it any wonder that bigots like Rashidi feel they have the license to spew such nonsense?

Bred on a cocktail of lies, half-truths and Islamic supremacism, madrasa-educated products like Rashidi are unfit for being productive members of modern society. For them, the entire world revolves around whatever is written in Islamic texts – their loyalty lies firmly towards invaders like Ghazni and his modern-day version i.e. the Taliban. People like Ghazni are heroes of Pakistan and the Pashtuns aka Pathans of Afghanistan – yes, the same Pathans whose community name is being glorified by Urduwood (Bollywood) in an upcoming SRK movie.

Shockingly, the likes of Rashidi are considered the representatives of the Muslim community by India’s secular state, including by the current government! A delegation led by him had met former Union Minister of Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi for a “Positive discussion on various development issues of Muslim community especially educational empowerment”.

When the Uttarakhand government talked of modernizing madrasas, Rashidi had threatened to ‘set the country on fire’.

If the Indian state is serious about upholding the rule of law, bigots like Maulana Sajid Rashidi need to be removed from the streets. If immediate steps are not taken to punish such motormouths, the consequences for the nation would be devastating.

  1. Shocking how this man can say such things and get away. And Nupur Sharma said what was a historical fact as written in multiple Hadith, and her life was ruined by these people. We cannot have such double standards. If a Hindu had said what Rashidi said about a mosque in any Muslim country, I bet you a crowd would have gathered outside studio and lynched him within hours. But we Hindus are meek and “live and let live” type of people, and that is what this hoodlum cult takes advantage of. We must stop being so tolerant of such people.

  2. It is surprising that such people nurturing destructive ideologies are allowed to move freely while preaching divisive forces all the way.
