Another Hindu youth attacked by Muslims in Karnataka

Another Hindu youth has been attacked by Muslims in Karnataka. Madhu, the 22 year old florist was stabbed by a gang of 6 Muslims reportedly for objecting to smoking drugs in a public place.

A resident of New Mandli in Karnataka, Madhu was returning in his bike after delivering flowers in the market. The Hindu reported that a gang of 6 men stopped him on his way and attacked him. Kannada journalist Chiru Bhat who tweeted about the incident said that they intentionally attacked the left side of the body where he was recently operated for a kidney ailment.

One Tauseef and 3 others have been arrested by Karnataka police in this regard. Opindia reported that Madhu had objected to Tauseef and his friends smoking drugs in a public place a few months ago and even lodged a complaint with the police. Shivamogga SP Lakshmi Prasad told the media that action was taken on Tauseef and his gang in this case and this could be the reason behind the gruesome attack.

The attackers had sharp weapons like swords and chased Madhu on the streets in broad daylight. Fortunately Madhu escaped the attack as he was on a bike and was later admitted to McGann Hospital. Hindu activists visited him in the hospital and sought severe action against the attackers.

Only a few days ago NIA had filed FIR in the murder case of Harsha another youth from Shivamogga killed by Muslims. The agency said that the Bajrang Dal activist was intentionally murdered to orchestrate communal violence. 26-year-old youth was brutally hacked to death for supporting Karnataka government’s decision to continue the uniform dress code in educational institutions and not allow hijab inside classrooms.
