Bajrang Dal activist Harsha hacked to death in Shivamogga for supporting common uniform in classrooms: K’taka

26-year-old Harsha, a local Bajrang Dal worker, has been brutally hacked to death in Shivamogga, Karnataka. His crime? He was a supporter of continuing the uniform dress code in place in Karnataka’s government schools and PU colleges for years, which a handful of Muslim girl students influenced by CFI suddenly demanded be changed to allow hijab in classrooms.

A horrific video showing Harsha still alive and lying on a footpath after being hacked has emerged from Shivamogga.

Several Hindu organizations are protesting and the situation there is tense.  As per reports, the heinous crime occurred around 9.30 on Sunday night. Though he was taken to Mc Gann district hospital, Harsha succumbed to his injuries. Photographs showed the young man with deep lacerations from possibly a sword on his abdomen revealing the insides of his stomach.

Harsha was an active Bajrang Dal karyakarta who had recently shared photos of students wearing saffron shawls in Sahyadri College. He was actively participating against the hijab politics that radical Islamists associated with the Popular Front of India (PFI) and its students wing the Campus Front of India (CFI) are using to create communal issues in colleges and schools in Karnataka, and off late across the country.

It is suspected that a group of Islamists brutally murdered Harsha near Seegehatti in Shivamogga.

His family members told the police that he had been receiving threat calls. Security has been tightened in the city following the murder and additional police forces have been requested to Shivamogga on Sunday night itself. Further details are awaited. It has emerged that Harsha had been on the hit list of a FB group called ‘Mangalore Muslims’:

On Saturday, 58 students at a pre-university college in Karnataka’s Shivamogga district staged a demonstration after they were suspended when they refused to remove their hijab. Another 13 Muslim girls boycotted their preparatory exams and said that they will quit school if they are not allowed to wear hijab to classes.

  1. This was just a senseless brutal killing. Uniform dress code must be abided by in all schools. Even in many Muslim countries, a uniform dress code is in force. Hijab controversy is a well-planned primary step to the Islamization of India. Instead of laying more stress on science-based education, these extremists prefer a religion-based academic setup. Today they are demanding Hijab, tomorrow they will force the authority to change the academic curriculum to induct hollow indoctrinated teachings widening the rift between the Muslim society and others, Hindu society in particular.
