“I had compiled the following five years ago and posted it as a comment on Facebook. Today, a stricter artificial intelligence, Muslim fact-checkers based in Hyderabad or a gang of Muslims and communists who follow me may get me banned on Facebook if I post it again — although these are truthful citations from the Qur’an, one of the three pillars of Islam that every Muslim must adhere to.
There may be small sects of Muslims that do not take the Ahadith (plural of “hadith“) seriously, as scholars say that the compilation of speeches and deeds of Prophet Mohammed has an error margin of 3,500; that is, 3,500 of the quotes by Mohammed or his constant companions’ recollections of what he did in his life might be false attributions. For example, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, the founder of Aligarh Muslim University, said openly that he followed the Qur’an alone and did not trust the Ahadith.
The third pillar of Islam is the Shari’ah, the legal code of the religion. Some so-called moderate Muslims say the code militates against the values of modernity and so they would not swear by it…..”
