The missing reaction…and the reaction to it.
Look at the reactions of western leaders for attack on their greatest and favorite ally: Israel.
Reuters had helpfully compiled a list of “how the world reacted” to this brutal terrorist attack. Included in the list are: US, UN, EU, Palestine, Iran, Germany, France, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Britain, Turkey, Qatar, Russia, Ukraine, Hezbollah, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy, Kuwait, UAE, Japan, even Kenya and Uganada…and, our new Pakistanist follower country – Canedda!
But before we get to the obvious, lets focus on a minor detail.
Because predictably enough, in Reuter’s “world”…1. The largest democracy in the world 2. The 5th largest economy in the world, but much more importantly 3. The biggest victim of islamist terrorism in the world for decades before west would wake up to it and 4. The only big country (apart from historical china, maybe) where Jews found peaceful refuge and were not persecuted for their identity, ever…this country, our Bharat – and its democratically related leader’s statement expressing solidarity with Israel against terrorism, was not found worthy to be in Reuter’s “world.”
I found it immensely curious and took to google for searching our favorite left-liberal media outlets’ take on the issue.
And un-shockingly, almost none of the usual suspects carried the news of Bharatiya PM expressing our support to Israel in this most difficult time of their constantly threatened existence.
In fact, within 24 hours (after 7 Oct Hamas terrorist strike) or even 2-3 days after it, using google with search terms like ‘New York Times India/modi/Israel’ resulted in an anti-Hindu propaganda article lamenting about California governor’s vetoing of the anti-Hindu hate resolution masquerading as anti-caste discrimination legislation no. 403.
For Washington Post, it was about reporting floods in sikkim.
For The Guardian, it was all about Cricket and Climate.
Nothing from NBC or MSNBC either.
(Note: I’m talking about written material and those that came up on Google, it’s possible that on video or deep within sites somewhere, they did report it in, but that seems unlikely and in any case, unsearchable in a pinch, which is the whole point.)
If anyone, anywhere was reading western media coverage of the Isarel-Hamas war for the 1st few days, they could easily be lured into the misinformed (uninformed?) belief that Bharatiyas didn’t care for Jihadi terrorist attacks inside Israel at all!
Which at this point, seems more than a little deliberate on western Deep State’s dedicated 5th columnists masquerading as “Free-Press”. Designed to foment an impression that ‘a selfish Bharat only cares about Jihadism when it comes to its own interests; even for terrorism in general, one can hear India screaming about it only when its under attack itself!’
Am I splitting hairs?
Reading tea-leaves in an empty-cup already shattered to pieces by Jihadi rocket blasts?
I think not.
After-all, on quite a serious issue like it (Israel-Hamas war) threatening international security, this conspicuous absence of western left-liberal reporting about official reaction of PM from a country where even a Divyang teacher asking other students to punish a Muslim kid for indiscipline becomes a matter of global concern against “Hindutva fascism making schools-for-young a hate laboratory!” for all the international media – despite there being no communal angle at all, but for which western media nevertheless spends considerable space and wastes terrible amount of ink then, on our PM Modi’s silence on such issues; and even dedicates whole separate op-eds and opinion pieces from paid anti-Hindu, anti-India hatemongers entirely devoted to vilifying him – and through him, all of us Hindus… it’s telling, then, when he does speak on an issue, that too, this serious, on behalf of our beloved Bharat, but the so-called internationalist western media does NOT report about it.
At the very least it shows exactly the kind of sneaky, slimy, despicable anti-Hindu, pro-Jihadi bias of the western Deep-State and its extended arms of regime-change ops. shamelessly calling themselves as ‘independent media’ and ‘free-press’. The bias and prejudice Hindus and nationalist Bharatiyas keep alerting the world about. And to which at least fellow Bharatiya citizens should worry about.
And its NOT a new one, either. Practised by Abrahmo-Leftist Deep State’s extended propaganda arms mockingly self-labelled ‘Free Press’ and ‘Independent Media’.
It’s the exact same playback deployed in the US establishment to provide cover for Biden crime family’s rampant far-left corruption in Ukraine, China, Kazakhstan and who knows where else: ‘See no evil.’ Don’t report on a metric tonne of more evidence in case of Biden bribery and Hunter degeneracy – all facilitated by George Soros and his DoJ / FBI cronies, than justinder trudeau ever shared with world about ‘Raa ki Satish!’ in a 2 bit khalistanI terrorist Nijjar’s killing.
And all this …radio-silence of a reaction is even more ridiculous given the sheer policy shift that stance of Bharat indicates when it comes to its geo-political positions for Middle-East, for the unversed. It wouldn’t be inappropriate or exaggerating at all to call it “Historical,” again, for the unversed. (I’ll show you how just a little later, in a next part.)
Heck, even Al Jazeera covered Bharatiya reaction to Hamas terrorist attack on Israel on the web – perhaps exactly because of it. (But then Al-Jazeera, funded by Jihadists’ favorite monarchy Qatar, used to be Al-Qaeda’s favorite courier boy, carrying those nicely taped messages from Bin-Laden and other dreaded Jihadi terrorists, to export their terror propaganda into the wider world, back in those War-on-Terror days no-one in the west wants to remember today.)
It wasn’t until 2 days later, on 9-October-2023, when a blog-post on Council on Foreign Relations by one Manjari Chatterjee Miller, titled: Modi’s Statement on the Israel Crisis Demonstrates a Transformed India-Israel Bilateral Relationship, any western outlet started covering it exclusively.
It was quickly followed by a piece in The Diplomat that, as usual, criticized India’s condemnation of Jihadist Islamist terrorists.
And then a short article by Michael Kugelman about the same appeared in Foreign Policy. (Which “partnered” with George Soros’s OSF in 2022 on “events” and “research projects”. (Translation: spying on and destabilizing of foreign governments and nations.)
Kugelman’s article, like many others’ who might argue along the same lines, points out that MEA of India hadn’t announced any official statement on its own. (But it had retweeted PM Modi’s tweet on the issue.) So, Modi’s reaction cannot be termed “official” in official sense.
I’d disagree.
For the Abrahmo-Leftist world’s Deep-State, Modi-is-Bharat. All their hate for us gets out whenever they’re hating any of his policy decisions about Bharat. Or anything that happens in Bharat that goes against their beloved group of Abrhamo-Leftists, because for that, whether Modi pulled the trigger or not, their standard editorial line is: Modi is responsible. So that’s disingenuous argument.
Secondly, the fact that foreign-policy biggies in western Deep-State are taking large enough interest in it to write articles on what Modi has said, means it matters a lot, to them.
Besides, even Modi said that he’s speaking on behalf of Bharat in his first 2 tweets on the crisis, which said:
- “We stand in solidarity with Israel at this difficult hour.”
- “People of India stand firmly with Israel in this difficult hour.”
Many of the Anti-Hindu, Anti-Bharat hatemongers whose loyalties lie outside our nation and who’re always more concerned about “what foreign abrahmo-leftists will think/say?” than what we, the people of Bhrarat as a nation who’re victims of decades-long Islamist terrorism originating from 2-state-solution, have suffered and felt… they are constantly lamenting about its alleged “one-sidedness”, that PM Modi, when speaking on behalf of people of Bharat, is not condemning Israel’s counterattack in Gaza against Jihadi terrorists. That this “historical” policy shift in favour of Israelis instead of Jihadist terrorists from palestine would put us up in a bad light. That we’re being inconsistent. And heavens will fall if its perceived, in the Middle-East and elsewhere, that we’d given up on the cause of Palestine!
They’re wrong.
