“‘Fake news, peddled by Pakistani Intelligence’: India rejects report on MEA’s “secret memo” targeting Khalistani terrorists”, Swarajyamag, December 11, 2023:

“The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Sunday (10 December) night strongly denounced a recent media report as “fake” and “completely fabricated”.

The article, published by the American online media platform, The Intercept, implied that India had issued a “secret memo” in April aimed at implementing “concrete” measures against Khalistani terrorists, including Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

Arindam Bagchi, the spokesperson for MEA, refuted the allegations, stating that the report is merely a component of an ongoing “sustained disinformation campaign” targeting India…..”
