Bangladesh: Abducted minor Hindu girl recovered, Police arrested Kamrul Islam  

One month after abduction, police recovered minor Hindu girl Aishi Saha(13) from Dhaka National Medical College and Hospital on 3rd July night. Police also arrested a Muslim youth named Kamrul Islam(24).

As per received information, based on the information from Hindu activists, police traced the minor girl in the hospital. She was admitted to the hospital for treatment. A team of police reached the hospital and recovered the girl. 

A police official said, “We recovered the girl from Dhaka National Medical College and Hospital. We’ll take the girl to Barishal Sadar police station. Already several provisions of penal code including abduction has been added against the accused. After medical checkup, most probably provisions of rape will be added.”

Minor Hindu girl Aishi Saha, a student of class- VII was abducted by Kamrul Islam on 22nd of May from Barishal. Her parents filed a complaint in Barishal Sadar Police station. But they alleged that police is not doing anything to recover their daughter. Later documents surfaced in social media that she has been converted into Islam and married to her abductor Kamrul Islam.
