Bangladesh: A Muslim businessman was selling shoes with ‘Aum’ sign, arrested

The Police arrested a Muslim businessman in the Narsinghdi district of Bangladesh for selling shoes with the Aum sign on them.

The incident happened on the 13th of March, Wednesday in a shopping mall of the town.

As per the received information, the businessman has a shop in the Index Plaza shopping mall of Narsinghdi town. A Hindu man saw the incident. He first protested. He also immediately informed the Police. Also, other Hindus who were in the shopping mall gathered there.

Soon, a team from the Sadar Police Station reached the shop. All shoes were seized, and the shop was sealed. 

Later, the Police filed a case against the businessman and arrested him.
