Olympic medallist Swapnil Kusale says Hindu culture should be preserved & Hindu Rashtra should grow

Maharashtra’s Olympian Swapnil Kusale expressed his thoughts on Hindu culture and Hindu Rashtra. He was participating in a Dahi Handi function where he shared his views on the significance of preserving Hindu traditions.

“We must preserve our Hindu culture,” Swapnil remarked. “Chanting Jai Shri Ram and raising slogans should become even more widespread. Expanding Hindu culture is essential, and it’s vital to inspire young children to ensure our Hindu nation grows stronger.”

He also emphasized the physical challenges and skills involved in traditional games like Dahi Handi, where participants form human pyramids to break the hand (a suspended pot). “Having a fit physique is crucial for such games. Climbing high to break the pot requires dedication and effort. Young people should focus on maintaining a healthy diet by avoiding outside food and choosing homemade, nutritious meals,” he added.

At the event, Swapnil, who won the bronze medal in the Paris Olympics, was honoured by the community and awarded a monetary prize of five lakh rupees for his achievements and contributions. In recognition of his accomplishment, Swapnil’s name was engraved on the revered sports pillar at the historic Bhavani Mandap in Kolhapur. This pillar, first unveiled in 1960 by Maharaja Sir Yadavindra Singh of Patiala, also bears the name of Olympic medalist Khashaba Jadhav, making Swapnil Kusale’s achievement particularly significant after more than seven decades.

We need more inspirational youth like Swapnil who take pride in their Dharma and express their views boldly. Youths must make them their idols instead of Bollywood entertainers who leave no stone unturned to insult Hindu Dharma.
