NSS IIT Patna celebrates National Youth Day to Honor Swami Vivekananda’s Legacy

On January 12, 2024, the National Service Scheme (NSS) IIT Patna, in collaboration with My Bharat Nehru Yuva Kendra, Patna, and Sehat Kendra, celebrated National Youth Day at the Senate Hall, IIT Patna, to honor the legacy of Swami Vivekananda.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers and was attended by esteemed dignitaries, including District Youth Officer Mr. Pameer Singh, Associate Dean of Student Affairs Prof. P.K. Tiwari, NSS Program In-Charge Dr. Ranjeet Ranjan Jha, NSS General Secretary Mr. Ade Balakrishna, and NYKS Coordinator, Bihta, Mr. Bablu.

The program also featured the successful screening of the “Viksit Bharat” webcast, which inspired the attendees with its vision for a developed India. A highlight of the event was the selection of one of the NSS volunteers to represent IIT Patna at the prestigious Viksit Bharat National Youth Festival in New Delhi, showcasing the talent and dedication of the NSS team.

The collaboration with My Bharat Nehru Yuva Kendra, Patna, and Sehat Kendra added a significant dimension to the celebration, emphasizing the importance of youth empowerment and holistic well-being. The event was a step forward in fostering the spirit of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings among the youth.
