Muslims shrewdly wear their religiosity as an armour to leverage western obsession with diversity to penetrate institutions. While Hindus strip their own identity to be more white than white men & end up socially orphaned.

Two narratives have strong traction in the liberal West. One is diversity.

Muslims retain their religious identity regardless of material progress, hitting all parameters to qualify as being ‘diverse’ in Western eyes. It gives them strong operability in lobbying for representation.

While Hindus already split on caste faultlines, readily give up religious affiliation in public for Western approval.

Affluent Hindus shaped themselves after white elites and with mainstreaming of caste privilege in West, Hindus will no longer be seen as candidates for diversity.

The second narrative that favours Muslims in west is the victim/discrimination angle.

‘Islamophobia’ now mainstreamed as a very real threat globally in academia and media, that Western Govts are naturally wired to give them large share of representation to avoid Islamophobic tag.

Unlike ‘Islamophobia’, Hindu hatred is propagated as progressive and anti-caste.

There is no systemic response to Hinduphobia in global academia or media, meaning western institutions become oblivious to it & leads to a burkha clad woman being appointed to hear Hindu grievances.

West’s obsession with diversity sees Muslims as ‘diverse’ due to their overt religiosity and as ‘victims’ due to being guilt tripped over Islamophobia.

Hindus neither have the religious rootedness to qualify as diverse & now carry added burden of being products of caste privilege.
