“T Raja Singh, a BJP leader and MLA from Hyderabad’s Goshamahal constituency, voiced concerns on Sunday (8 December), about the demographic shift in Goa, particularly the rise in the Muslim population.
Speaking at an event organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal in Curchorem, South Goa, Singh expressed worry over the decreasing Hindu population in the coastal state. He argued, “Wherever Hindu population has decreased… conversions of Hindus has occured there.”
