Fatwa issued to completely boycott a Muslim woman & her family for participating in a Hindu ritual for her well-being

A Muslim family in Gujarat’s Vadodara was ostracized after the couple attended a ‘Hindu ritual’. As per reports, the husband and his wife returned home after completing a Hindu ritual organized near Wadi Lake, the video of which went viral. When the community leader of the Bawamanpura area came to know about it, he called a meeting and announced the social boycott of the family of the woman who had performed the ritual.

Arik Ghulam Mohammad Mansuri works in the construction industry as a laborer. It further came to light that his wife had been ill for four years and was undergoing treatment. ” I went with my wife near the lake for a religious ceremony organized by Devipujak Samaj. We returned home in just ten minutes, but when our Muslim community leaders came to know, they called us and held a meeting in the mohalla, where we were told not to go to the mosque and not to go to the graveyard”, he said adding they have two daughters.

This is a stark reminder of the extent of intolerance among Muslims. Earlier this year, a man identified as Arif Shah and his family were ostracized by the Islamic community in Madhya Pradesh’s Damoh. The reason behind the boycott was that he applied tilak to a Hindu during the electoral atmosphere there.

That Islamic societies ruthlessly persecute non-Muslims, especially ‘idol-worshippers’ like Hindus, is well known. But even free-thinking Muslims who question community diktats & Islamic dogma are marked for brutal treatment by those indoctrinated by Muslim clergy to do anything to ‘defend’ Islam.
