IB Officer brutally lynched by anti-CAA mob in Delhi’s Chand Bagh; family points finger at AAP leader

Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer Ankit Sharma (26) was brutally lynched in Northeast Delhi’s Muslim-dominated Chand Bagh locality on Tuesday. The gruesome murder came to light on Wednesday when his body was pulled out of a drain in Chand Bagh.

Ankit’s brother Ankur narrated the sequence of events that resulted in the gory death of the IB security assistant: Ankit returned from work at 4:30 pm on Tuesday and went out to see that was happening in the locality when he was caught by those who were rioting against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act or CAA. He was stabbed and dumped in the drain. The rioters caught his friends too who went to save Ankit; they kept firing relentlessly and did not let anyone come save Ankit.

Hindustan Times reports that the deceased IB officer’s father Devendra Sharma is an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) with Delhi Police, whereas Dainik Jagran has reported that the father’s name is Ravindra Sharma and he is a Head Constable with IB.

This video shows the filthy drain from which the IB officer’s body was retrieved today.

It being alleged that AAP councillor Tahir Hussain is one of the key brains behind the planning and execution of Delhi riots over CAA. Ankit’s father reportedly named Tahir Hussain as responsible for his son’s murder. BJP leader and ex-minister in the AAP government, Kapil Mishra, has also alleged the same.

Apart from Tahir Hussain, names of other AAP leaders like Abdul Rehman, Amanatullah Khan (close to CM Kejriwal), Haji Yunus and ex-Congress MLA Mateen Ahmed have come up in connection with anti-CAA riots that have rocked the capital since December. Almost all the localities in North East Delhi which are witnessing violence over the last 2 days have sizeable Muslim population.

The murder of an IB officer, whose identities are not publicly disclosed has sent shockwaves through the security establishment, and hints at a deeper conspiracy in the violence that has engulfed the nation’s capital since the weekend.

While Delhi has seen brutal murders of 2 cops (dozens more have been injured) during these riots – first head Constable Ratan Lal, and now IB officer Ankit Sharma – along with both Muslim and Hindu civilians, the left-liberal cabal in Bharat and the West is spreading disinformation that the rioting triggered by Islamists in Delhi is a ‘state-sponsored pogrom against Muslims’. These vultures are rubbing their hands while falsely claiming that their predictions since 2014 about “Muslims being massacred once Modi came to power”, are finally coming true.

The truth though is very different – these riots are nothing but a direct challenge by Islamists to parliamentary democracy and the law & order machinery of Bharat.
