Girl’s dream leads to discovery of buried Krishna murti near Dargah in Shahjahanpur’s Nigohi Area

In the Nigohi area of Shahjahanpur, a 10-year-old girl’s dream led to the discovery of a murti near a Dargah. The villagers installed the Krishna murti in a field two and a half kilometers away, considering it a miracle. However, tension arose during the digging due to opposition from the Muslim community, leading to the deployment of police near the Dargah as a precautionary measure.

The girl, Pooja, had dreamt that a murti was buried near Dargah close to the Jindpura village canal. She told her family about her dream, but they initially didn’t take it seriously. Pooja then stopped eating and drinking for seven days, prompting her father, Vinod Singh, to take action.

Vinod, along with his family and villagers, performed a puja near the Dargah and started digging at the indicated spot, about 30 meters away from the Dargah. A large crowd gathered, and the caretaker of the Dargah, Guddu Mian alias Mohammad Aamir, opposed the digging.

Despite the opposition, the digging continued, and soon the Krishna murti was found. Vinod installed the murti in his farm, and a bhandara was organized there, where people started worshipping the murti.

Pooja, dressed in traditional attire, marked the spot for digging with a trishool and worshipped before the digging began. The entire incident was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media.

CO Sadar Amit Chaurasia stated that police arrived at the scene upon receiving information from the Dargah’s caretaker and took control of the situation. Police have been deployed near the Dargah for security purposes.
