Army foils infiltration bid on LoC in J&K’s Rajouri, terrorist killed

Army foiled an infiltration bid on the Line of Control (LoC) on late Saturday evening during an operation in which one infiltrator was killed in J&K’s Rajouri district.

A defence ministry statement said that the army gunned down an infiltrator on the LoC in the Lam area of the Nowshera sector in Rajouri district and thwarted an intrusion bid by the terrorists.

“The body of the slain infiltrator has been recovered”.

Reports said the army intercepted militants trying to infiltrate into the Bharatiya territory in the Lam area and opened fire to neutralize the terrorists.

  1. Such infiltration will mount day after day with Pakistan’s failure to hold Afghan refugees within PAK territory. These Jehadists are not only of Pak origin but also of Afghan breed who are taught gun battle since their early boyhood. Pakistan’s economy is faltering & on the brink of collapse. The Afghan refugees there have no job, hence no money. ISI exploits this opportunity to train them to become fierce fighters and then push them across LoC to destabilize India’s democracy.
