Islamist Mohd Majeed with 182k followers on Instagram threatens Hindus with genocide

Islamists are using social media (SM) to spew venom against Hindus while taking refuge under the vague rules of SM platforms. It also helps their cause that platforms like Instagram, X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook, hardly ever act against them. Furthermore, law enforcement agencies seem to be either ignorant or indifferent which has emboldened these Islamists further.

In the latest instance, an Islamist ‘influencer’ identified as Mohammad Majeed has threatened Hindus with genocide. “Zinda rehna hai toh bhaag lo warna lashein bhi pehchhan mein na aayengi tumhari..hum deen ka jhanda gadenge”, he lip-syncs to the song in the 14-second Instagram clip.

The clip translates to “If you want to remain alive run away else even the dead bodies will be unrecognisable…we will fly the Islamist flag high”. This is a clear case of hate speech and yet such accounts are allowed to operate on social media platforms. It is hard to fathom how such open genocidal threats and calls for violence in the name of religion (deen) don’t violate the community guidelines of Instagram.

Other instances of genocidal/hate speeches against Hindus

SM is increasingly being used to post such messages threatening Bharat’s so-called majority community. Here are some other instances of anti-Hindu hate speech and threats on SM:

1) Instagram ‘influencer’ Islamist Amaan Tanwar urged his followers to smash the skull of those who are anti-Islam. He was heard threatening non-Muslims with violence.

2) Dr Shoaib Jamai, Chairman of the India Muslim Foundation and a scholar of Jamia Millia Islamia University, used YouTube to spew venom against Hindus and brazenly warned India of “Ghazwa-e-Hind” in his 9.16 minutes video.

3) Kashmiri Muslim YouTuber Faisal Wani recreated the act of beheading ex-BJP Spokesperson Nupur Sharma through a VFX video for her comments quoting the Islamic scriptures about Muhammed and Ayesha. He had posted the video through his YouTube account Deep Fitness Pain.

4) Last October, an Islamist ‘influencer’ named Mustafa Arshad Ali aka Arshad Khan made an Instagram reel and issued death threats to Hindus. “Kaafirs, you all will be buried when the time comes”, Khan said in his Instagram reel posted on 17 October 2022.

5) Nadeem from Rajasthan’s Bikaner and his ‘influencer’ friend Sabnam made crass comments about Hindu women. In the audio clip, Nadeem was heard saying Hindus should be raped, identified and killed. Sabnam could be heard laughing and giggling when Nadeem was continuously abusing Hindus in the 2-minute clip.

“I have seen three Hindus being killed in front of my eyes. They die daily in our area. They should be killed openly. A few days ago, a cow was being killed. A Hindu approached and raised an objection. I told him to call the Police and administration. They would not do anything”, Nadeem said. The Islamist further declared that if he had an AK47, he would kill Hindus himself.

6) ‘Influencer’ and former AIMIM social media head Syed Abdahu Kashaf, who led the ‘sar tan se juda’ slogans against T Raja Singh, frequently uses his SM accounts to spew venom against Hindus.

7) Islamist social media influencer Syed Ali Akbar Jagirdar had called for beheading those who ‘insulted’ Mohammad. The arrested influencer through Instagram published videos provoking people to kill non-Muslims calling them ‘kafirs’. “Behead those who abuse prophet,” “as per Quran the only place for Kafirs is hell,” and “kill Hindu men in interfaith relationship with Muslim women,” the accused could be heard saying in different videos that he posted on social media.

8) Abusive Islamist Ajaz Khan posted many videos on various social media sites provoking violence and mob lynching of Hindus by Muslims and mocking police for not being able to catch Muslims who indulge in communal violence. He was subsequently arrested by Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch for his controversial videos.

9) In 2019, a group of Islamist TikTok ‘influencers’ instigated hatred in the name of Tabrez Ansari and propagated revenge for his death. Faisal Shaikh, Hasnain Khan, Faiz Baloch, Adnan Shaikh and Sadhan Faroqui were booked by the Mumbai Cyber Cell for their hate video.
