Gaana, a music streaming platform recently sacked its employee Tanzila Anis over her insensitive tweet on Rinku Sharma’s death. The tweet seemed to justify the death of Rinku Sharma only because he was a Bajrang dal activist.
Tanzila Anis’s insensitive anti-Hindu tweet circulated on social media platforms and was hurtful for Hindus who were shocked at the brutal murder of the young man.
After the post went viral on Twitter #boycottgaana trended, urging people to alter the play store ratings of Gaana to 1 star. Twitteratti also asked Gaana to take strict action and sack Tanzila Anis. Shockingly Anis wasn’t alone and there were others justifying Rinku’s death.
Gaana in its official statement apologized and made clarifications on the tweets made by her. It said,” Gaana respects all religions and communities in India. With regards to social media posts by a recently joined employee of Gaana, these posts do not represent our value. She is no longer employed by the company. We will continue to bring music to our country. “
For the unversed, Rinku Sharma was a 25-year-old lab technician who was stabbed to death by a Muslim mob over the Ram mandir donation drive.
Tanzila Anis is a repeat offender who has demeaned Hindu Dharma in the past as well and has often tweeted anti-Hindu remarks. Here are a few of them. In one of her tweets, she demeaned Bhagwan Shiva and said she has a thing for “mythological dick”.
In a 2015 tweet, she said made a sly remark which implies the Hindu majority in Bharat must end.
In one of her tweets, she made an offensive comment on Hindu epic Mahabharat.
The kind of Hindumisic (Hindudveshi) venom spewed by the likes of Anis in the name of liberalism needs to be called out. It is time we stopped addressing them as liberals because they are the antithesis of the word liberal; they are the real fascists who have been indoctrinated with a deep-rooted hatred for Hindu Dharma and Hindus.
