10 Jumlas of Wokeland every Bharatiya must remember

The wokeland is full of all sorts of make belief stuff. But, unlike the sweet, fairtytalish, Alice in Wonderland kind of make-believe, this make-believe is poisonous to the core and reeks of propaganda. Its aim is to destroy Bharatiya society, culture, civilization, and eventually Bharat. Its armour for attaining this consists of a bunch of fabricated lies specially designed to misguide and confuse educated Bharatiyas.

Many educated Bharatiyas, unfortunately, have already fallen into the trap of these woke make-believe “jumlas”. But it’s never too late to redeem oneself! And for those of us who still haven’t become a victim, we need to know all about their modus operandi so that we don’t end up becoming their next soft target.

Here is a list of 10 “ Jumlas” of Wokeland that every Bharatiya must remember.

1.Bhakt – Anyone who has ever said anything in favor of the Modi government, or anything against the woke lobby, has certainly been called a bhakt at some point or the other.

Bhakt is a standard Jumla of the wokeland. Even those of us who don’t have even a cursory interest in politics have seen this term on social media every now and then.

You support the Citizenship Amendment Bill. You are a bhakt. You oppose the farmers’ protests. You are a Bhakt. You criticize the glorification of the Mughals who looted and plundered Bharat. Even then, you are a Bhakt! The criteria for being called a bhakt seems fairly broad-based. Anyone from the Wokeland who anything doesn’t have logical to say to counter your arguments will call you a Bhakt. End of the story!

The idea behind creating these fabricated names follows the most popular left-liberal and woke logic – “if you can’t counter them with logic, just shame them and shut them up”.

The next time someone calls you a bhakt, revel in the ecstasy of being the chosen one, maybe just use a social media smiley emoji and thank them. BUT STOP FALLING INTO THIS WOKE TRAP.

2. Sanghi – Quite close to Bhakt, Sanghi is another greeting hurled at people who say anything constructive about Bharatiya culture, and civilization, or talk about Hindu dharma.

Basically, anyone who bad-mouths Hindu dharma and calls it regressive is  secular. And anyone who says good things about the Hindu dharma and defends it against baseless attacks is a Sanghi, according to the woke dictionary.

This greeting is also used to silence and shame people on social media platforms. When your woke friend or acquaintance cannot refute your arguments with logic, they start calling you a Sanghi. The logic is that since you are a Sanghi,  everything you say or right is already doomed. You don’t have any right to be right because you are a Sanghi! Such is the wokeland logic.

Wokeland uses different inter-related terms to shame pro-Bharat and pro-Hindu people. For example, you could also be called a closet Sanghi. Closet Sanghi would be the term applied to people who seemed liberal on the outside, but all of a sudden they wrote something on their social media that goes against the woke agenda. And off they go! So now they are branded closest Sanghis.

If anyone expresses admiration for the RSS directly, then you are perennially doomed in the wokeland’s vision of things! They would leave no stone unturned in trying to destroy your credibility and reputation, especially if you are a bit of a celebrity. The same happened with Milind Soman a couple of years back. The famous Bollywood actor and model made some candid comments about the time he had spent at RSS shakhas during his childhood and early youth. He spoke positively about the RSS experience saying how that instilled in him a strong work ethic, good human values, and the foundations of a disciplined lifestyle. The entire woke lobby immediately shamed “Sanghi” Milind Soman.

3. Brahmanical Patriarchy – It’s another favorite term of the left-liberal and woke crowd.

That patriarchy exists and it needs to be countered is something that everyone acknowledges. But there is nothing about patriarchy that makes it exclusive to brahmins or Hindu dharma. Yet the Wokeland tries to sell this twisted logic by making connections between patriarchy and Hindu dharma.

The woke logic essentially says: that everything patriarchal about the world stems from the Brahmanical hierarchy, so all feminist movements need to attack the Brahminical patriarchy at its core. Does it make sense to you? If it does, good luck and best wishes. But if it doesn’t, we are in the same boat.

Every society has had regressive practices against women, and no one is trying to deny that. But to associate patriarchy solely with Hindu dharma and fabricate a term called Brahmanical patriarchy to attack Hindu culture and customs smacks of an anti-Hindu agenda. Ironically enough, Hindu dharma is the least patriarchal in many respects. We had learned female sages in the Vedic times. With regard to Hindu festivals and rituals as well, women enjoy a lot of agency. A lot of what comes across as patriarchal was rather an influence of the Islamic and Victorian cultures because of the Islamic invasion and subsequent British colonization of Bharat. Would these woke scholars have the guts to create terms like “Islamic patriarchy” or “Christian patriarchy”?

4. Sanskari – It’s one of the most misinterpreted and misused words related to Bharatiya culture. And the credit for twisting this word goes to woke lobby. Being Sanskari simply means having good values, and basically having a good grounding in one’s culture and ethical values. That’s why the term Sanskari comes from the word Sanskriti which means culture.

The Wokeland has twisted this word to altogether new levels. Right from Bollywood films to daily soap operas on television, the word Sanskari has been generously used to make fun of Hindu culture and values. From over-the-top melodramatic Bollywood heroines to the caritcaturish Bahus of the Bharatiya TV soap operas, the word Sanskari has been depicted and interpreted in all wrong and twisted ways.

The Wokeland propaganda has hammered this into the heads of many educated Bharatiyas that to be Sanskari essentially means being regressive, orthodox, and legitimizing oppression. Nothing could be farther from the truth. On the contrary, the word Sanskari in the context of Hindu Dharma means being polite and cultured with a solid grounding in ethics and also being righteous and courageous and never shying away from taking a stand. But the woke lobby has twisted this term to such an extent that you can find many Bharatiyas using the term sarcastically or in a derogatory manner.

So in popular imagination, a Sanskari bahu is someone who is willing to be beaten up by husbands and in-laws. Popular culture has associated the word with all sorts of perverts with double standards blaming it all on the supposed hollowness of “Sanskar”.

The word “Sanskari” has been especially twisted in the context of women. It’s used as a weapon to make Hindu women think their culture is regressive and patriarchal as opposed to other apparently progressive cultures. It’s ironic because the word Sanskari isn’t only about women. It refers to everyone, whether man, woman, or any other gender. It’s essentially about solid grounding in ethical values that are the foundation of Sanatan Dharma. But wokeland has twisted this word in such a way that it’s become a toxic jumla apparently signifying repression of women in Hindu society.

5. Hindutva Supremacy – Hindutva Supremacy is yet another of Wokeland’s manufactured toxic jumlas.

You will see many news stories with headlines using words like “The Hindu Supremacist movement”, “Hindutva ideology”, “Hindu Supremacy” etc. The apparent logic behind such terms is again a bunch of lies invented by the Wokeland – since the BJP government that rules Bharat is a Hindutva nationalist government, therefore, its actions are essentially spreading Hindutva supremacy and annihilating the minorities. This is the woke logic in a nutshell.

The phrase Hindutva Supremacy is also used by the woke lobby to draw parallels between the supremacy of whites ( the colonization project ) and the apparent supremacy of Hindus in Bharat ( whatever that means ). Renowned author and scholar of Hindu Dharma Rajiv Malhotra has written extensively in this regard. In his book “Breaking India: Snakes in the Ganga”, the author talks in detail about how critical race theory is being forcefully applied to caste in the Hindu context. And it’s essentially being implied that just like the whites colonized the world., upper caste Hindus are also colonizers colonizing Dalits and even minorities from other religions.

To anyone with a bit of logic, this doesn’t make sense. Calling Hindu Bharatiyas, who had themselves been invaded and colonized first by the Islamic rulers and then by the Whites, colonizers is quite a leap of faith even by 21st-century standards!

But such is the woke propaganda against Hindu Dharma. And that’s why phrases like “Hindutva Supremacy” have gained so much currency in mainstream media discourse.

6. Saffron Terrorism or Bhagwa Aaatankvaad – It’s incredible that despite the lack of any evidence whatsoever regarding the involvement of any Hindu activist group in planning and implementing any violent activity resulting in the loss of lives, such terms exist.

The wokeland created these phrases and they keep on shamelessly churning out fabricated stories using these imaginary terms.

The terms Bhagwa Aatakvaad and Hindu Aatankvaad even have Wikipedia entries. Similarly, the phrase “Hindu Terrorism” has a Wikipedia entry. The fact that the entry starts by quoting someone who writes for “The Caravan” speaks volumes about the motivations of this entry. Interestingly, an Australian think tank called the “Australian Institute of International Affairs” also has an article on “Saffron Terror and Hindutva Ideology”.

The world-famous Routledge label of the Taylor and Francis Group has recently published a book titled “Hindu Nationalism and Terrorism in India: The Saffron Threat to Democracy” written by Eamon Murphy.

It’s incredible that despite the complete lack of any evidence whatsoever regarding the so-called saffron terror in Bharat, an entire industry has sprung up to cash in on this Wokeland mania and mint money by abusing Hindus and Bharatiyas.

7. Caste Privilege – Caste privilege or upper caste privilege is another widely used term in the wokeland jargon.

Though it’s more common in academic writing, the term is also used in popular culture to shame any Hindu from a supposedly higher caste who dares to critique any issue concerning caste politics in India. The woke logic goes like this: Since you have a Brahmin or a Kshatriya surname, you have no business talking about these issues, let alone criticizing. Your supposed “caste privilege” makes you an exploiter by default. According to the woke lobby, one of your major life goals should be to repent for that apparent historical privilege people belonging to your caste enjoyed.

The term caste privilege is now also being appropriated in the context of Hindu Bharatiyas living abroad. The US, for example, has become a hotbed of caste politics with aggressive lobbying taking place to legitimize and encourage caste profiling of south Asians.

Caste-based injustices do exist in Bharat and nobody is trying to deny that. But to use the term caste privilege blindly to shame anyone who tries to say anything against the woke agenda on caste is nothing but propaganda.

8. Manuvad – Whenever anyone makes remarks against Hinduism calling it violent and repressive, they often refer to Manuvad.

To be honest, none of these people have any clue as to what Manuvad actually is. But they like using the term for the heck of it. For them, it is the source of all oppression and patriarchy. The woke definition of Manuvad loosely goes like this: The Hindu text Manusmirti codified a set of rigid rituals according to which men and women must live their lives, and these “regressive” rituals form the base of Hindu culture.

Never mind that nobody from the wokeland has any idea about the context in which Manusmirti was written, and if it’s a fluid text open to change and reinterpretation.

The biggest misinformation being spread through the use of the term “Manuvad” in media is that the concept of caste has its origins in Manuvad. Many experts have pointed out that Manusmriti doesn’t even mention the word caste, rather it talks about “Varna” which is a different concept based on a person’s actions, and not on their birth.

Yet, wokeland scholars and activists continue to distort Manusmirti by inventing this fabricated term Manuvad and writing all sorts of nonsensical stuff about Hindu Dharma in its name.

9. Sati Savitri – Perhaps no other term has been distorted and abused by the woke lobby as much as this one.

The term Sati Savitri is used generously everywhere from popular culture to media to make fun of any woman who is apparently conservative and regressive, or who pretends to be a beacon of virtues when she is actually the opposite. In the name of women’s empowerment, the term “Sati Savitri” has become Wokeland’s secret weapon to rather degrade them and make fun of their achievements.

In Wokeland parlance, a modern and progressive woman is the very antithesis of the archetypal Sati Savitri. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Savitri was the legendary princess who was the wife of Satyavan. Going against her parents’ wishes, Savitri marries penniless Satyavan because she is in love with him. She was even warned in advance that Satyavan was going to die an year after their marriage. Still, she married him.  In a bid to save her husband’s life, she picks up the courage to have a verbal duel with Yamraj, the God of Death, and finally forces Yamraj to return Satyavan’s life. All this happens due to the sheer conviction and courage of Savitri. This truly is a story of a bold, courageous, and virtuous woman, and not the caricatuerish “Sati Savitri” the woke lobby talks about.

10. Brahminical hegemony – This is yet another term the woke lobby loves to use.

It’s such a loose term that it can be used to criticize and demonize anything and everything from Hindu customs, rituals, and festivals to something as innocuous as vegetarianism. When Sudha Murthy was vehemently criticized by the woke lobby for making comments about how she takes separate cutlery when she travels abroad because of her vegetarian habits, it is this “Brahmanical hegemony” she is found guilty of perpetrating.

The wokeland ecosystem encourages “scholarship” on such fabricated concepts to further demonize the Hindus and justify anti-Hindu hate and violence. Many of these jumlas also become convenient fodder for the conversion industry to speed up Dalit conversions by creating all sorts of conspiracy theories about Hindu dharma.
