Summary: Organiser reports that the Uttar Pradesh STF's inquiry report alleges organised religious conversion, sexual exploitation and intimidation of Hindu female students and employees at KGMU, Lucknow. The report, dated 25 October 2026, found that the Pathology Department was a principal centre of the alleged activities and accused senior faculty of protecting the accused doctor and suppressing complaints. The Yogi Adityanath government has directed the university Registrar to start departmental action and asked for an action-taken report.
Why it matters: The report's findings on the targeting of Hindu women in a state medical institution raise questions about the safety of Hindu women and the accountability of public institutions. Furthermore, the institutional silence surrounding these radicalized networks highlights a growing Islamist threat—one frequently shielded by the willful blindness of the liberal intelligentsia.
