SFI displays obscene posters, again, in Sree Kerala Varma College

The controversial posters splashed all over the Sree Kerala Varma College in Thrissur by the Students Federation of India (SFI) were removed from the campus following public outcry. A reluctant SFI leadership took them away after the college authorities warned them of strict action. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) students campaigned against the sleazy and pro-Jihad posters.

Last heard, Monika Arora, a Supreme Court advocate filed a complaint at the National Commission of Women against the SFI for displaying obscene and vulgar posters of women and promoting anti-nationalism. This time around, the SFI might find it hard to wriggle out of this controversy unscathed.

All posters were in extremely poor taste and furious Keralites on social media objected to the same. The mischief received widespread condemnation on social platforms and netizens questioned the communist obsession with Islamist ideologies and their fascination for sex, porn and nudity.

Under the pretext of inviting newcomers to the college campus, the SFI  plastered obscene, anti-Hindutva, anti-national ‘paintings’ that glamorize jihad. Other artworks openly encouraged sexual anarchy and promoted the hippie culture commonly associated with the communists.

One depicted a couple kissing with barb wire running between them. It suggested a  border fence between two countries and a helmeted soldier guarding the fence on the other side of the border is seen kissing a woman on this side of the border. The suggestion was crystal clear, Bharat & Pakistan. The caption abused national sovereignty and read ‘F**k your nationalism.’

These are in fact pan-Islamic propaganda usually associated with Islamist bigots. The Marxists want us to forget that on the other side of the border, in Sindh province of Pakistan, Hindu girls are routinely abducted, raped and forcibly converted by likes of the fanatic Sufi cleric Mian Mithoo.

Such posters make it clear that the SFI is no longer about communism and socialism but merely a tool in the hands of the Islamic radicals in our society.

One poster tried to glorify the ‘save Palestine’ cause where a Palestinian is seen facing armed security personnel, holding a stone. The writings hoped for Israeli doom at the hands of the jihadi elements.  The SFI promised solidarity with the people of Palestine.

Another image shows a Taliban fighter wearing the US flag as underwear. Marxists are cheering for this terrorist group, a proxy of the Pakistani Army, which poses an immense danger to Bharat in Kashmir and geopolitically. They don’t care that with Taliban storming to power after US withdrawal, Hindus and Sikhs have been completely cleansed from Afghanistan and barbaric sharia rule has returned.

Of course, there was the obligatory ‘art’ championing BLM, another lampooning the PM & FM and morbid portrayal of lotus (BJP’s symbol) growing in a pond with dead bodies floating.

All the posters were removed within a day of their appearance. The administration remained mum and no cases have been registered against these obscene anti-nationals. It is alleged that this exhibition was done on the sly on the college campus with the help of communist professors who dominate the higher education system in Kerala.

Incidentally, this is not the first time that either the college or the SFI was in the news for all the wrong reasons. In 2017, the same college saw replicas of the now-dead Muslim artist MF Hussain’s work that depicted Saraswati Devi in a disturbingly sacrilegious manner. He was an expert at pushing the line between fine art and pornography/profanity, and seculars provided him lots of space that ended when he flashed his victim card and fled from Bharat to Qatar where he breathed his last.

Though those posters were similarly removed in haste, Deepa Nishant an assistant professor of the college publicly backed the SFI. Deepa has a history of plagiarism and had no qualms about lying when caught.

Emboldened, the SFI brought out posters of Bhagwan Ayyappa with derogatory captions in 2019. SFI goons attacked ABVP workers who tried to conduct a program to support the CAA bills. Bearing the brunt of communist assaults is a regular feature for the ABVP at this particular college.

Sree Kerala Varma College was founded in Aug 1947 by the erstwhile ruler of Kochi, Rama Varma XV. There was strong public demand from leading legends of Thrissur, and the former Maharaja of Kochi donated both his name and his palace for the establishment of the college. He contributed handsomely both in cash and in timber.

Unfortunately, it is now owned and managed by Cochin Devaswom Board which functions with the money collected from Hindu temples. The communists now control all Devaswoms in Kerala and in turn the college Boards. With complete Marxist-Islamist influence, the SFI is now used for spreading anti-Hindu, anti-national and anti-social content.

Originally, the board members were nominated by both the Kerala government as well as the Hindu community of the state. This has gradually changed. Infiltration of Muslims and Communists with Hindu names as government appointees is now common.

Notable amongst the Hindus in name only is Dr. R Bindu, the current higher education minister of Kerala. The previous higher education minister was KT Jaleel, an ex-SIMI Islamist. Bindu was an associate professor at the Kerala Varma college. The communists forced the principal to resign last year and his duties were given to the then Vice-Principal Bindu. She is a former Mayor of Thrissur and more importantly, the wife of CPI(M) acting State secretary A. Vijayaraghavan.
