On November 3, 2023, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Nepal Bharat Mahila Maitri Samaj in Kathmandu, Nepal, Gandhi Education Trust in Katihar, Bihar, India, and Buddha Institute of Technology in Gaya, Bihar, India, aimed at providing scholarships to Nepali students in these educational institutions.

Per the agreement, the organizations will offer 22 full scholarships through Nepal Bharat Mahila Maitri Samaj to Nepali students who intend to study in institutions under the Gandhi Education Trust in Bihar. Between the Gandhi Education Trust and Nepal Bharat Mahila Maitri Samaj, it was agreed to provide 11 full scholarships for a diploma in nursing course and 11 for a B.Sc. course.

Similarly, a signing ceremony between Nepal Bharat Mahila Maitri Samaj and Buddha Institute of Technology was held, concerning scholarships for students recommended by Nepal India Mahila Maitri Samaj. As per the agreement, Buddha Institute of Technology will grant full scholarships to 11 students pursuing a Diploma in Engineering course and 11 students studying a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) course, as recommended by Nepal Bharat Mahila Maitri Samaj.

These scholarships will be effective from the academic calendar of 2024.

Nepal Bharat Mahila Maitri Samaj has taken the initiative to provide scholarships in collaboration with renowned educational institutions in India, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder the educational aspirations of deserving Nepali students.

In the future, Nepal Bharat Mahila Maitri Samaj intends to extend its scholarship initiatives to include international educational institutions for Nepali students.
